5 место Вайдича и 6 Бролениуса на этапе кубка в Китцбюэле две недели назад.

А подлый Элан не отгрузил Новую Слаломку для Бульдозера по причине пустого склада. Мы расстроены.

Говорят, что спрос превышает возможности фабрики и поставили нас в очередь на конец марта. Поздновато.

но вот это увеличение радиуса у гиганток, мне кажется это всё таки не для того, чтобы улучшить лыжи, а скорее требование фиса, чтобы прохождение трассы было более безопасным. Сродни ежегодным "улучшениям" формулы один. Прав я или нет?
В 2008 радиус был 22, сейчас 24 (для 182) И 182 это женская ростовка, я так понимаю?
Да и расцветка сейчас более бледная, хотя опять же, волны - зачёт

Наверное старею, всё чаще и чаще перемены не нравятся... :)

Такое ощущение (по шпионским фоткам), что центр ботинка в следующем сезоне съедет ближе к пятке. на гигантах особенно. Или это обманчивое впечатление? Чем-то мне льстило, что у элана ботинок располагается ближе к середине лыжи чем у других.

Upd.
Посмотрел на фотки лыж этого сезона на офиц. сайте. если и сместили, то не на столько чтобы с моим глазом что-то утверждать. пятка заметно короче носка и там и там. а вот на фотке из предыдущего поста ботинок очень близко к середине.

сам юзаю цех и не нарадуюсь. Лыжа с Большой буквы.

Единственная претензия, почему Баранович тестил лыжу для слалома - гиганта с ростовкой..... 170 см? Видимо, фамилии, они не зря даются...

Compared to the last year's model, you will notice considerable differences already at the first glance. Besides new design, characteristic to all Elan's race models this season, first thing you'll notice are already recognizable "waves". This year, Elan implemented Waveflex technology in their race series also, which is one of the greatest technological novelties. So far, waveflex has been implemented only with recreational models, but due to its success, it was decided that the race program should also have it.

Waveflex technology provides better balance between flexion and torsion performance of the ski, that is, improve torsion rigidity, which is one of the key factors for successful performance on hard packed surfaces, for which the ski is intended.

Apart from the mentioned novelty, GSX retained most of its technological features, such as RTS technology (racing sidewall), characteristic to all Elan's race models over a couple of previous seasons. So far, RTS proved a great choice, because it enables easier tilting of the skis onto their edges and secures great grip throughout the turn.

Model for the 08/09 season, as well as the previous ones, has wooden core (Responseframe woodcore) enhanced by double titanium layer which stiffens he ski (Dual IT), and Isocrome top. As for bindings, there were no great changes - Fusion 14.0 GRN already became a rule with producers from Begunje.

Speaking of its purpose, it is clearly seen from the ski's geometry - this is the classic example of giant slalom ski, intended primarily for long and fast turns. It is aimed at more experienced skiers, ski instructors and (former) racers. However, don't be discouraged by this, the ski proves very obedient in long turns and responds properly and expectedly. As well as its predecessors, GSX will grip throughout the turn; and it does this job even better then before.

Waveflex considerably contributed in lessening the weight of this model. But, the waves are not almighty. We got the impression that the ski does not react the way one would expect on hard packed and icy surfaces. At higher speeds, you may get the impression that your safety is endangered in such conditions. On the other hand, if conditions are not too extreme and if surface is only a bit hard packed but not icy, GSX will prove a valuable companion.

This ski is extremely obedient and interesting. If you use a bit of strength and guide it more actively, the ski proves more versatile than its giant slalom radius 'prescribes', and you can truly enjoy long dynamic turns. When compared to its predecessor, shorter turns are one of the advantages owing to more lightweight ski materials. You will execute them more easily, which will save your strength. We are not, of course, speaking of short turns with this ski, but with the use of somewhat 'softer' technique, shorter turns can definitely be considerd.

But the story does not end here. So as to see all its abilities, we tested the ski on softer terrain, as well as on somewhat bumpier slopes, and were very surprised at the result. Although it is not its primary purpose, GSX quite satisfies on such surfaces. With more "aggressive" approach on such a terrain, you will soon forget that you're skiing on a giant slalom model. However, larger and tightly packed bumps could pose problems for this ski, considering its length and stiffness.

GSX is a race ski primarily intended for groomed and harder packed runs. Although there are moments when it strongly reminds of a cross ski, it is not the case. More experienced recreational skiers in good (not supreme) physical condition may find it a great choice. It asks for technique and active engagement, but our impression is, in a lesser degree than similar models of other producers. Skiers who recognized themselves in the above train of thoughts should consider this model.

Все мы консерваторами становимся, закончив детский садик.

А по "лыжа стала лучше" я не имел в виду геометрию. Её диктует ФИС. А вот Waveflex дал лучшую продольную гибкость, сохранив торсионку на уровне прошлогодних Спортцехов, если не лучше. Низкая Продолка даёт лыже:

- лучший контакт со снегом по всей длине
- лучшую инициацию поворота

Что-то из этих качеств сработало, когда оба Элановских гонщика удержались в критических местах трассы, где повылетали монстры из первой десятки ФИС.

Хотя мой друг гоняет на женском ФИСовском Атомике, радиус блольше 21 м. И очень доволен. Но мне кажется на это не следует ориентироваться.

у меня был цех 06 года,он НАМНОГО мягче 08.. торсионка такая же. саломон цеховой раньше гнулся пополам почти..теперь- рельса. тенденция,однако..
если и вэйвфлекс будет таким же жестким,то поможет только реальное сравнение одновременно на трассе.

Ты прав. Это верхняя Рэйсовая модель с Вэйвфлексом.

2Wargo: мне отзыв понравился. Именно эти же ощущения были и у меня. И возможность коротких дуг и прохождение расколбаса намного реальнее, чем на Рэйсе прошлых лет.
