наткнулся на очень интересный тест, постараюсь перевести.
высота сгибания (flattening height):
чем выше число, тем лучше.
использовали груз, которой падал с высоты, начиная в 40 см. цифра в тесте обозначает высоту, при которой покрышка сгибалась под действием груза.
также проводился тест на прокалываемость с помощью металлического шипа (thorn).
a значит наибольшее сопротивление проколу, f - наименьшее.
применять лучше всего для:
cc - cross country race
am - all mountain
en - enduro
Сопротивление качению (rolling resistance, RR):
Все покрышки накачиваются до 2,5 атм. Устанавливаются на станок, и разгоняются до 20 кмч. В таком положении сопротивление считается нулю, отбрасывая сопротивление воздуха и трение подшипников. Потом колесо нагружают 50ю килограммами веса, и снова разгоняют покрышку до 20 кмч. Разница показаний дает Сопротивление качению в ваттах. Получается, чем меньше цифра, тем лучше.
Устойчивость в поворотах/максимум (cornering stability/ability)
и traction - собственно, как передается усилие вкручивания
